GETTING STARTED

The Shaker Online Presentation System is composed of 3 separate software systems:

1. the engine - the presentation editor software itself
2. the templates - which contain the customized Flash graphical components created by your Flash designer.
3. the network services - provide online file-management, online group work, and multiple presentation delivery methods.

The 3 main sections of the help correspond to these 3 software units.

In your daily work, you will use these systems parallely, in a seamless way. Here is a typical example of the process of creating a new presentation:

Open your browser and go to www.shaker.hu
1. Log in to your account using your organization's domain id, your username and password
2. Create a new presentation file using the website's file management utility, called 'Folders'.
3. Choose a template for your presentation.

4. Create and edit your slides
5. Save your presentation.
6. Share and review your presentation with your colleagues.
7. Make a live presentation (online or offline), distribute your presentation online, publish it on the Shaker website or your own website, or using an offline medium (CD-ROM, DVD).
